Christian Counseling
We Work With Clients Who:
Want counseling from a therapist who understands Christian faith and culture
Desire therapy that is both emotionally honest and spiritually respectful
Have experienced church hurt, spiritual abuse, shame, or unhealthy religious environments
Feel conflicted, uncertain, or in the process of reevaluating aspects of their faith
Want space to ask difficult questions without fear of judgment
Serve in ministry or church leadership
Want faith thoughtfully incorporated into therapy without pressure or performance
Value both psychological insight and spiritual growth
Are looking for a counseling approach that feels compassionate, grounded, and authentic
At Be Brave Counseling, we offer counseling for individuals, couples, teens, and families who would like faith thoughtfully integrated into the counseling process. All of our therapists are Christians as well as licensed mental health professionals, and we understand the meaningful role faith, church experiences, and spiritual beliefs can play in a person’s life.
Our approach is compassionate, clinically grounded, and emotionally honest. Christian counseling with us is not about judgment, simplistic answers, or simply quoting scripture. We use evidence-based therapy while also understanding the complexities of faith, relationships, family systems, church culture, and emotional healing.
Some clients come to counseling deeply connected to their faith, while others may feel hurt, cautious, disillusioned, spiritually exhausted, or unsure what they believe anymore. We strive to create a safe space for honest conversations without pressure, shame, or assumptions.
Prayer and spiritual discussions may be incorporated into counseling when desired by the client.
